| All walks end back at the start. |
| Please come properly prepared with waterproofs and strong footwear. On all day events please bring lunch and a drink |
| An adult must accompany children under 8 years of age on all events. |
| Dogs are welcome but must be under strict control at all times. Owners are expected to clean up after their dogs. |

| Much of Stalybridge Country Park borders onto moorlands, which are in private ownership and sensitively managed. There is no open access to these moors and members of the public are asked to keep to the network of statutory and permissive footpaths when crossing moorland and farmland. |
