| Buckton Vale School 6th July 2002 hosted The World Cup ! |

| The 2002 World Cup was held at Buckton Vale School! The semi-finals and final were played out at the Annual Summer Fair! Goals came fast! | |||||||||||||||
| In the first semi final Italy won Ireland 5-3. | In the second semi final Denmark won Spain 2-1. | ||||||||||||||

| The World Cup Final was between Denmark playing in red and Italy playing in blue.
In the 7 minutes each way match Denmark were the first to score a goal but by half time Italy
had brought the score up to 2-1. When the final whistle blew on this six-a-side exciting match
the score was 4-2 for Italy!!!!

| Vangelis "Chariots of Fire" was played for the spectacular Opening Ceremony. | |||||||||||||
